  • Chris Lilly

    Most notably, Chris Lilly is the Vice President and Executive Chef and partner of the World-renowned Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q in Decatur, AL.

    Lilly is also head chef of the award-winning Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q Competition Cooking Team, and the winner of 17 World BBQ Championships including 5 Memphis in May Grand Championships, as well as winning the American Royal International Invitational Cook-Off.  

    Lilly is a 2016 inductee into the Barbecue Hall of Fame and in 2019 he was presented with the 2019 Pioneer Award for his work in barbecue. Lilly was an instructor for Pork Summit at Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. Lilly has appeared twice at the James Beard Foundation and over a dozen times on The Today Show. He has also appeared as a judge on the TV show Pitmasters and on Food Network’s BBQ Brawl. Lilly is a Celebrated Chef of the National Pork Board and serves as the national spokesperson for Kingsford Charcoal and a proud Ambassador for Smithfield Pork and Yeti Coolers. His private catering jobs include work for companies like Nissan, NASCAR, and Microsoft.

    Tod was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama and grew up watching his grandparents own and run a restaurant named the “Tower House”.  He has fond memories of spending time at their restaurant and realized how hard they worked to make people happy with good food and service.  Fast forward to 1989, Tod decided to open “Marvelous Muffins” in Decatur.  They specialized in different varieties of muffins and gift baskets.


    In 1991 Tod decided to join David Martin who founded Steak-OutRosie’s Mexican Cantina was opened in 1995 with David and Tod as well as other key players.  Throughout the 24 plus years Rosie’s Group of Restaurants have expanded to include Little Rosie’s Taqueria, Phil Sandoval’s Mexican Restaurante, Shaggy’s Burgers and Tacos, Ted’s Bar-B-Q and Walton’s Southern Table. Tod is part owner of Rosie’s and several of the other different restaurant concepts and is responsible for all Rosie’s operations including food, service and restaurant standards.

    Tod has a true love for cooking and perfecting recipes and works alongside our head chef at Rosie’s developing entrees and other items like his famous Carrot Cake served at Walton’s Southern Table. He enjoys cooking and entertaining with his wife of 33 years, Debbie and two sons, along with friends and family.  Tod is thrilled to be asked to participate with his cooking skills for the Refuge of Grace Fundraiser.

  • Bob Fite

    Jiggy Piggy BBQ Team

    Bob always enjoyed the grill going back to cooking with his father and watching the Jackie Gleason show on Saturday night. He got serious about 2000 after tailgating at Auburn football games and being encouraged by friends liking free food. He then starting competing on the KCBS bbq circuit in 2003 and formed the Jiggy Piggy Team.

  • Will Woller

    Will Woller is a Decatur native and Auburn University graduate who returned to his hometown to work for his family’s business (Summit Treestands, Inc.) and raise his family.  He is a successful businessman and lifetime community supporter, who has a passion for hunting and cooking.  He and his wife, Kay, have been married for 32 years and have three grown children.  Will is co-owner of Duke Woller Land Company, and has competed in local and state cooking competitions as a hobby.  After cooking for the Committee on Church Cooperations’ feeding program for many years, Will considers it to be an honor to be asked to cook for the Refuge of Grace fundraiser.  He believes in sharing his blessings with others and loves to support those who need a helping hand.

    Rick is the franchise owner of Handel's Homemade Ice Cream in Huntsville, Al. Handel's Homemade Ice Cream and Yogurt makes ice cream fresh every day, using only the finest ingredients! Handel’s success has been reported in various publications including travelchannel.com, which recognized Handel’s as “One of the Best Ice Cream Parlors in the Country.” The original stand—still located in Youngstown, Ohio—has been quoted as “The Busiest Ice Cream Stand in America” by Ohio Restaurant News.Chocolatier Magazine distinguished Handel’s as “One of the Best Ice Creams in America.”
